Job Description

Seeking an experienced Procurement Coordinator for a contract position in Charleston, SC. The Procurement Coordinator supports multiple divisions through purchasing and contracting activities for goods and services. This role assists in sourcing, managing purchase orders and contracts, and collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement operations.

Responsibilities may include:

• Coordinate the full procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance and receipt of goods/services.
• Assist in developing and issuing requests for quotes (RFQs) or proposals (RFPs) to vendors.
• Review purchase requests for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procurement policies.
• Collaborate with suppliers to obtain pricing, lead times, and terms that meet organizational needs.
• Track and monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and invoices to ensure timely fulfillment and payment.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and assist in auditing purchasing documentation.
• Support the contract review and renewal process in coordination with Procurement Managers and Legal.
• Generate routine procurement and contract activity reports for management.

Experience with government / public sector purchasing/contracting is preferred. This is a remote position however occasion in-person meetings may be required in Charleston. Candidates will be required to pass a drug screen and background check upon offer acceptance. This is a contract role which has the potential to become permanent.
