Job Description

Position : Pharmacy Technician (Andover, MA)

Overview/Responsibilities :

• Enter prescription information into system to be verified by the Pharmacist.
• Assist in prescription preparation including selection of correct medication, accurately counting, bottling, and labeling prescriptions in preparation for shipment.
• Prepare and consolidate patient prescriptions for shipment.
• Assist in inventory activities including replenishment of pharmacy stock and supplies.
• Ensure the pharmacy is clean and organized and filling stations are restocked throughout the day.
• Provide superior patient service including triaging incoming phone calls, confirming prescription accuracy, setting appropriate expectations, and following through on service commitments.

Schedule/Shift :

Monday - Friday (40 hours a week - schedule would be set with a mix of these shifts): 8am-4:30pm/10am-6:30pm/12pm-8:30pm

Must Have Skills/Qualifications :

MA State Pharmacy Technician Certification

2 Years Pharmacy Technician Experience
