Overview

Gastro Center of Maryland is a 25 provider GI group practice which is seeking to add a great Nurse Practitioner to the team. The successful candidate would split their time between several locations (Columbia, Olney, & Riverdale). After two years of working with the group they would have the opportunity to practice independently.

Job Description

The APP will work with the physicians to:

• Assess patients independently and in collaboration with GI physician
• Perform history and physical assessment
• Order labs, interpret lab, order imaging, and follow up on all results
• Prescribe medications and manage medications specific to patient needs
• Create a plan of care utilizing care guidelines

Qualifications

• Approved Maryland State Medical License, Board Certification, Maryland CDS, and DEA certificate
• Prefer one year of Gastroenterology and/or outpatient practice
• Mandarin Language Skills are a Requirement
