PTW is hiring anIndustrial Painterto join ourteam in Calgary, AB!This is a full-time permanent position on our afternoon shift, with lots of opportunities for overtime!Must be local to the Calgary area or within commuting distance. A DAY IN THE LIFE... Operates paint equipment and utilizes supplies. Mixes and applies basic and industrial paint as per specifications. Measures paint thickness as per specifications. Inspects final product, ensuring conformance to specifications. Performs daily maintenance and minor repairs of painting equipment. Masks skids for sandblasting and painting. Cleans and prepares skids for painting. Packages skids for shipping. Performs rigging techniques as per industry standards. Operates forklift and overhead cranes to transfer skids and packages throughout shop. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 2 years experience painting and/or sandblastingin an industrial capacity. Previous experience with water based, epoxy paint and primer mixing requirements an asset. Previous experience with rigging and overhead cranes is an asset. Valid forklift certification is an asset. ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Must have own transportation as facility is not accessible by public transportation. Must have CSA approved safety boots Must be authorized to work in Canada.
